Webinar series:
Before you start training/ RBHA Training System

In this webinar series you will learn how we view training, how to start building your session, what to look for and how & what we start training. We also go into how our foundation behaviors are the key to building a training system and what that means. There will be plenty of room to ask questions and discuss.

This is where you get to get acquainted with us, our way of thinking & working and our training system.

MODULE IV: Cues

In this module we will focus on cues and stimulus control. What are they, how to use them, how to build your cue system. We will also continue to work on our foundation behaviors to get them to fluency.

Prerequisite: Module 2 & 3

Setup: 12 week course, weekly lectures and training assignments. Individual feedback to your training videos

MODULE III: Shaping

In this module we will focus on shaping. We will look at different techniques and finetune your skills and communication with your horse. We will continue to work on our foundational behaviors, to develop them to another level and get a deeper understanding of them.

Setup: 8 week course, weekly lectures and training assignments. Individual feedback to your training videos

 

Dates: this course is currently under construction

Module I: PAUSE

In this module we focus on how to set up your sessions and what structure can bring your training. We start building on our Core Skills: Pause and Connection. This will give us a structure to work from in all future endeavors.

Prerequisite:  None

Setup: 3 week intensive course, multiple lectures and training assignments. Lots of feedback on the training videos. In this course we start training and building the core behaviors Connection & Pause.
 

Dates: jan '23, autumn '23

This is our flagship program, where we focus on bringing your foundation to fluency. Building skills and creating independent learners. Read more about the content and the idea behind it on this page. Below you'll find an overview of the modules.

Module II: Trainer toolbox

In this module we focus on you, as a trainer. We want to build your toolbox: your mechanics, your timing & observational skills, your reward delivery and your connection with your horse. Become a better trainer for your horse.

Setup: 8 week course, weekly lectures and training assignments. Individual feedback to your training videos

Second level

Second level education

After finishing the educational program we have several advanced courses and paths you can take. Where Angelica will guide you through the world of balance and gymnastics, Do will help you on the path to cooperative care and husbandry. 

This program will start in 2025

Instructor Program

Although not yet in the making, this is something we see coming in the future. For people who have finished the Educational Year Program and want to expand into teaching. We will focus not only on a deeper understanding of training technology, but also on teacher skills.
